The Arlington Senior Citizens Center opened in the fall of 2003 to serve as a gathering place for Arlington's Senior Citizens. The building is a replica of Arlington's original railroad depot station from the late 1800's known as "Withe Depot". Seniors (ages 50 and over) meet at the center to enjoy each other's company in a variety of ways. Check out the monthly calendars below. Applications are available at the center, Town Hall or you can find it below.

Join us every Monday beginning at 8:30 AM to enjoy a cup of warm coffee and fellowship with gentlemen from around town.

Balance and Strength, Beginning Aerobics, & Chair/Standing Yoga

Our bodies were meant to move and they actually crave exercise.  Regular exercise is necessary for physical fitness and good health. Exercise plays a critical role in promoting healthy aging and in the management of chronic illness. We offer exercise classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 AM. Check our calendar for the different types of exercise we offer each day of the week.

Healthy Living 101

It is important to stay up to date on topics that affect you in these ever - changing times. We offer "Lunch and Learn" programs in health, safety, technology, and art. Each month there is a new engaging and informative speaker. We have had speakers from Arlington Physical Therapy, Baptist, Methodist, St. Francis Bartlett and more! Please check our monthly calendar for the speakers and dates.

Singing, movies, and potluck lunches are all part of the fun things that this lively group participates in. Join us every Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bring a dish and enjoy a delicious meal!

Wii Games
Wii games are entertaining and easy to learn. It is a great way to elevate your mood and stay active as you can play standing or sitting. Stop by to play or simple watch the fun unfold! This event takes place on certain Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. Please check our calendar for the dates.

Join us on Tuesdays beginning at 12:00 p.m. and listen to the songs you grew up with. For those of you who like to dance, there will be plenty of great songs to dance to.

Monthly Monday Book Club
Be inspired with this friendly group! It is a relaxed environment and we enjoy discussing a variety of genres. Our discussions are led by the wonderful Sam T. Wilson librarian, Christine Conwell.
