The Arlington Board of Zoning Appeals grants variances requested from the Municipal Zoning Ordinance. In the event that the Planning Commission rejects a request for a zoning change, the applicant may appeal such decision. It then becomes the responsibility of the Board of Zoning Appeals to hear the applicant's grievance and decide if a general hardship exists to justify the requested variance. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on an "as needed" basis at Arlington Town Hall.
