In the fall of 2003, the Arlington Senior Citizens Center opened to serve as a gathering place for Arlington's senior citizens. The building, which was newly constructed in the summer of 2003, is a replica of Arlington's original railroad depot station, which was known as "Withe Depot" in the late 1800's.

Senior residents gather at the center on a regular basis for coffee, meals, entertainment, and a variety of other activities. The center is located at 6265 Chester Street in the historic Depot Square area.

The Town of Arlington and the Arlington Senior Center are committed to the betterment of its seniors through the sharing of information and support. We encourage seniors to get involved in the many activities the center provides. We hope you will join us for Gentlemen's Coffee, Senior Lunch, Bingo, Quilting, Game Day, or simply fellowshipping with one another at the many events sponsored by the center.

Spring seems to have sped by and the summer months are now upon us. When temperatures start climbing, stay cool by spending time at the center. We have friendly people, fun groups, and interesting classes. Come on down and join us.

Our Wednesday Health 101 is a lively class you don't want to miss. There are new topics every week designed with your health concerns in mind. There will be informative presentations on prescriptions drugs, cholesterol, weight control, good foods to eat, exercise and much, much more!

New this summer is our scrapbooking  class. Learn basic techniques on how to get started putting together a memory album. This class will show you how easy and entertaining, scrapbooking can be!
