The Town of Arlington partnered with CodeRED to provide a communication platform to notify residents and visitors of emergency alerts and general information, as needed. Once you register, you can receive alerts to your email or by text to your phone.

To enroll in the Emergency Alert Program simply text ARLINGTONTN to 99411 and complete the enrollment. Each account can add up to 4 emails and 4 phone numbers.

The Shelby County Rabies/Animal Control Program is responsible for the enforcement of County ordinances and State Laws pertaining to domestic animals in Arlington. These regulations include licensing and vaccination, as well as “loose animal(s)”, vicious animals, animal cruelty and nuisance provisions.

The Rabies Control number is (901) 222-9715, and they are open Monday-Friday from 7am-4:30pm. After hours and on weekends, you can contact the Shelby County Sheriff Department at (901) 379-7625 regarding dangerous animals.

Rabies Control does not service requests involving wildlife, including snakes, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, rats or birds.
