Bookworms Elementary Book Club
Saturday, June 17 13 at 11:00 AM
Join the Sam T. Wilson Bookworms one Saturday each month.
Bookworms can share what they liked and didn't like about the book pick and enjoy an activity relating to the book. Books available for checkout at the library and as an ebook on Libby. June Book Pick

Builders Club
Calling all Master Builders!
Join us Tuesdays from 4:00 - 4:45 to challenge your building skills. For children in grades K and up! 
Due to small parts Adult supervision for children under 5 is required.
Building materials available vary each week but may include Legos, Magnetic Tiles and more.

Toddler / PRK Storytime
LA HORA DE CUENTOS
Join us Tuesdays weekly for Storytime at 10:30 at the Arlington Safe Room.
Every Tuesday we enjoy stories, songs, counting, dancing, and a great way for parent interaction with your little one. This program is designed to build early language and literacy foundations in toddlers and pre-school age children. Storytime + Craft Day is held the 4th Tuesday (October-May) and is designed especially with the developmental tasks of toddlers in mind. See more here., and here.

Weekly Virtual Storytime

Join us every week for other great virtual Storytimes!
Bedtime Storytime, Read With Me Storytime, and Tiny Tots Lapsit
Bedtime Storytime Mondays at 7:00 PM 
Read With Me Storytime is every Wednesday at 10:30 that provides a closer interaction for enjoying the stories. Some weeks you will enjoy great special guest readers. Be sure to watch and read along! Say 'hello' to us in the comments so we know you are watching.
Tiny Tots Lapsit Storytime held Thursdays at 10:30 (temporary break).
This program is designed for ages 0 - 2 and is a time to bond with your child as he/she sits in your lap and encourages early development in language and learning skills through songs, rhymes, tickles, bounces, and books. Ask library staff about a Tiny Tots Storytime kit.

All Virtual Storytimes can be found weekly on the Library Facebook page.
Tune in Live weekly, but if you can't meet with us live, no worries, all sessions are recorded and post immediately after each event.

Knitting Club  - Tuesdays & Saturdays at the Library

Our weekly knitting club takes place from 10 AM - 12 PM on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM.
New to knitting? No problem! All levels of experience and all ages are welcome
to join us at the Sam T. Wilson Library as we learn the art of knitting.
All library programs are free and open to the public. More info.  

Chess Club - Mondays 5:00 - 6:30

Mondays each week September - May. Join individuals of all ages and levels of experience for a game of strategy and problem solving. You are invited to learn and master the art of chess. No registration necessary. Students under age 12 must be accompanied by parent or designated adult while in the library.

All students will need parents or adult to sign them in due to the library policy states that all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or designated responsible person while in the library. We require the parent/responsible person to remain onsite throughout the program. There is seating available on the patio (weather permitting) or you may stay in your vehicle in the parking lot. Please see staff if another arrangement needs to be made. Schedule changes will be posted on Facebook. More info

Teen Advisory Board - NEW 
May 24 at 4:30 at the Library
Teens we invite you to join us for the first meeting of the new teen advisory board. We want your input and to share your ideas about resources for your library. Earn volunteer or service hours for attending meetings and the library is a great place to make new friends. More info.

Kids Art Class for ages 5 - 9  will be available the first Saturday each month at 11:00.
Registration is required. Limited seating. June 3 at 11:00 AM

Kids ZONE DIY Craft Day - Take & Make Kits
Join us the 2nd Saturday monthly for the Kids ZONE DIY Craft Day. Take & Make craft kits will be available, while supply lasts. All supplies will be included and kits will be labeled for any additional glue, tape, etc. will be needed. More information
