Adventure Begins at the Library!

Starting May 18th with our Kick Off Event - earn prizes for every hour you read, participate in fun events, and discover a whole new adventure right here at the Library!

Dino Crew Visit!

11am - May 23 at the Safe Room

Join the Dinosaur Crew on May 23rd! It is a fun, educational program for kids of all ages, and brainchild of Memphis Magician Magic Mr. Nick. Includes a cast of professional performers and puppeteers.

Literacy POP!

4pm - Wednesdays at the Library

Introducing a new program with no sign up required! Starts May 15th!

Help your young reader develop important fluency and literacy skills with sight word games, reading challenges PLUS A FREE POPSICLE! Every Wednesday at 4pm!

Recommended for K-3rd, see Ms. Savannah for more details.

Every Tuesday we enjoy stories, songs, counting, dancing, and a great way for parent interaction with your little one. This program is designed to build early language and literacy foundations in toddlers and pre-school age children, we also sneak in lots of early literacy and social skill building. Read With Me Storytime - Virtual

10:30am - Wednesdays on Facebook

Join us every week for this great virtual Storytime!

This virtual storytime provides a closer interaction for enjoying the stories. Some weeks you will enjoy great special guest readers. Be sure to watch and read along! Say 'hello' to us in the comments so we know you are watching.

All virtual Storytimes can be found weekly on the Library Facebook page. Tune in weekly, but if you can't meet with us live, no worries, all sessions are recorded and post immediately after each event.

Virtual RWM Storytime

S.T.E.M.

4:30pm - Thursdays at the Library

Your local library is the place that offers exploration and discovery: S.T.E.M.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math - with projects chosen to engage children. (ages 5+)

Free to all explorers recommended ages 5+. No registration required.

Knitting Club

10 AM - 12 PM - Tuesdays
2PM on Saturdays

Our weekly knitting club takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays at the Library.

New to knitting? No problem! All levels of experience and all ages are welcome to join us at the Sam T. Wilson Library as we learn the art of knitting.

Builders Club

4:00 pm - Tuesdays

Calling all Master Builders!
Join us to challenge your building skills. For children in grades K and up! 
Due to small parts Adult supervision for children under 5 is required.

Building materials available vary each week, but may include Legos, Magnetic Tiles and more.

Chess Club

5:00 - 6:30pm - Mondays

Join all ages & levels of experience for a game of strategy and problem solving. You're invited to learn and master the art of chess. No registration necessary.

(Students under 12yo must be accompanied by parent or designated adult while in the library. All students will need parents or adult to sign them in due to library policy regarding children under the age of 12. We require the parent/ responsible person to remain onsite throughout the program. There is seating available on the patio (weather permitting) or you may stay in your vehicle in the parking lot. Bookworms Elementary Book Club

One Saturday each month at 11:00 am. Follow the calendar for the next book club.

Join the Sam T. Wilson Bookworms one Saturday each month.
Bookworms can share what they liked and didn't like about the book pick and enjoy an activity relating to the book. Books available for checkout at the library and as an ebook on Libby.

1:30pm - 3rd Wednesday each month.

This book chat is for all adult ages to share about our current book selection, what you're currently reading, or what you've read.

We encourage sharing all reviews and suggestions for other members of the group. Great way to reconnect, meet people, make new friends, and add great book ideas to your reading list.

Monthly selections are available for checkout. We offer a Zoom invite if you can't make it to the Library. Speak to your library staff for more information.

Take & Make craft kits will be available, while supply lasts.
