Health & Safety

The Arlington Health & Safety Committee aims to create and maintain a safe and healthy community environment as well as provide support to the Fire Department. The focus of the committee is to find ways to reduce health and safety hazards while advising the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, the Fire Department, and Public Works Department of issues related to health and safety concerns.

The committee also serves the Fire Department when making budget decisions, prioritizing departmental needs, gathering information and locating financial support. The Health & Safety Committee meets at 5:30pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month, as needed, at Arlington Fire Station #2 (12364 Donelson Road).

The Town relies on citizens who volunteer their valuable time to serve on various committees. Occasionally there are vacancies on our committees. If you are interested in serving the town in this capacity, please call Town Hall at (901) 867-2620 or fill out a Committee Interest Form.
