Library Calendar of Events

We have special programs and events each month at the Library. Our monthly calendars help keep you informed (links in blue buttons to download). Check our new calendar each month OR check out our Library Facebook Page.

Programs occur Monday-Thursday, and on Saturdays.
The Library is closed on Fridays & Sundays.

Fall Festival

Saturday, October 18th from 12:00-2:00

Our annual Fall Festival is here! We will have inflatable games, a caramel apple bar, and crafts!

For all ages. No registration is required. Don't forget your costume!

Ongoing Reading Challenges

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

For ages 0-5

It's never too early to start reading! Register your baby or toddler for the 1,000 Books Challenge on ReadSquared. This program is designed to help children read 1,000 books before they enter Kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

100 Books Before Graduation

For ages 13-18

This reading challenge for teens is to encourage students ages 13 to 18 to read 100 books before they graduate from high school! Log your reading on ReadSquared to complete this challenge. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Children's Programs

Preschool Storytime

10:30 am on Tuesdays.

LA HORA DE CUENTOS

Every Tuesday we enjoy stories, songs, counting, dancing, and a great way for parent interaction with your little one.

The program is designed to build early language & literacy foundations in toddlers and pre-school children ages 5 and under.

We also sneak in lots of early literacy and social skill building. See more for English here. and Spanish here.

storytime is every tuesday at 10:30. It is at the library unless otherwise  stated.

Books & Barks

4th Saturdays from 10:30-12

Registration is required.

Do you have a reluctant reader? Reading aloud to a therapy dog can boost confidence and they're the best audience! Sign up for one-on-one reading time with a library pup.

Registration is required.

For ages 5 and under.

Books and Barks is every fourth Saturday. Sign up at the library.

Builder's Club

Every Thursday at 4:00

Come build with us! Test your LEGO skills and build with friends. Every Thursday before STEM, we will play building games, do challenges, or free build!

Children under 5 must be supervised.

No registration required.

Builder's Club is a LEGO program for kids. On Thursdays at 4:00pm at the library.

Craft Kit Saturdays

2nd Saturdays (all day)

Come pick up a Take and Make Craft Kit! Each month we put out two seasonal crafts you can take home for creative fun!

No registration required.

Pokémon Club

October 14th from 4:00-5:30 pm

Wanna catch 'em all? Then come to Pokémon club! Bring your cards to trade and hang out with fellow fans.

Stuffie Sleepover

Ever wonder what your stuffies do at night? Drop them off for a sleepover at the library and we'll see what they get up to.

Registration is required. Sign up with a librarian.

Our first Stuffie Sleepover will be the weekend of October 11th. Registration is required.

S.T.E.M. Thursdays

STEM 4:30 pm - on Thursdays

Your local library is the place that offers exploration and discovery: S.T.E.M.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math - with projects chosen to engage children. (ages 5+)

Free to all explorers recommended ages 5+. No registration required.

Book Club for Adults

The last Wednesday of every month at 1:30.

This book chat is for all adult ages to share about our current book selection, what you're currently reading, or what you've read.

We encourage sharing all reviews and suggestions for other members of the group. Great way to reconnect, meet people, make new friends, and add great book ideas to your reading list.
