This is an on-going class from Creative Aging with professional artist, Amillia Stembridge from September. Sign ups are closed (Fri. Sep. 13th, 20th, & 27th 12:30 & Oct. 4th, 11th, 18th)

An immersive watercolor landscape painting course beginning with a visit to the Dixon Gallery and culminating with an en plein air session in the Dixon Gardens.

Participants will build knowledge and skills week to week recognizing lighting, shading, color mixing to create structures and foliage. No Experience needed.

This class strengthens social bonds, lifts our spirits, and is fun for all.

Each week we select a topic, ponder it for a week, and then reconvene to share our stories on Zoom.

Local market at the Forrest Street Park pavilion from May-October. A variety of vendors offer fresh fruit & produce, baked goods, local artisan crafts, honey, jams, flowers, and more.

The Arlington Industrial Development Board will meet at Town Hall to hold a PUBLIC HEARING for the following:

A RESOLUTION TO REVISE AND READOPT THE ECONOMIC IMPACT PLAN FOR THE HAWTHORNE MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT BY THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF ARLINGTON, TENNESSEE

Proposal: A copy of this proposal and a map of the subject area may be seen in the Arlington Town Hall, 5854 Airline Road, weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

Comments: Any citizen who wishes may appear and testify either for or against this Resolution will be heard. Written comments may be addressed to the attention of Town Administrator, Catherine Durant, Arlington Town Hall, 5854 Airline Road, Arlington, Tennessee, 38002, and are to be received no later than 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2024.
