👏 Congratulations to Elizabeth and Ashley!

Thanks to their work with a NRPA grant, Arlington's Senior Center launched the Walk with Ease program that has helped residents get active, build friendships, and gain confidence. Along the way, many participants even went on to compete in the Regional Senior Olympics, bringing home more than 70 medals!

The program was such a success that Ashley and Elizabeth were invited to share Arlington's story in the National Recreation and Park Association's monthly magazine. Their article will be published this summer in the Health and Wellness column.

We're proud of Ashley and Elizabeth for helping make Arlington a healthier, more connected community, and for getting us nationally recognized.
